"Oh Holy Night"
A Story By Johnny Moon. It partnership with the incredible sermon from my church Sunday.
A continuation from my last post, Sunday Fun Day. This is Part Two. Still with equipment/mic compatibility issues, so this is me being creative and presenting a podcast a different way. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this different take I have on a podcast and enjoy reading this post: Thanks for all the new support for the Weight of Gray Podcast I started back in October. So much is different for me mentally and physically, and so much is still the same.
Sunday Fun Day Commences:

Dear Journal,
This is year one for me mentally and physically. I am finally writing my thoughts down on paper again and it feels incredible. Incredibly brave, as Rose McGowan just said in my mind from memory. My mother and I are about to head to church. We are waiting for my grandma and aunt to get ready for church and then we are going to my first family gathering together in years. I miss my sis.
“Me and Mamma” are just chilling like this cool winter’s breeze, smoking our 24/7 100’s because they are the only thing we can afford, but have come to appreciate and value this brand above all others. We have had some rough times mamma and me. We have gone through decades of pinching every penny to make it last as long as we possibly could.
Now, we are here, in 2025. We are sitting here watching the birds play in the leaves. Well, what remains of the fall season. Magically watching the leaves slowly drift down to the ground to be used for nests or burrows. Hibernation is coming. Nature beckons thee to depart fall season, so Yule can spring into action, bringing about the most powerful Winter’s Solstice we have seen in eons, at least that is how it felt for me this year as a Witch.

Love,
Will
(I genuinely love myself now…what progress!!! #GoldenBox) personal growth baby.

Hey Journal,
Still Sunday Fun Day,
Mamma and I are headed to hear the pastor’s phenomenal message today on “Joseph”, reminding men of our current times that model yourself after “Joseph”. Pastor filled us in at the dinner we attended for their Christmas gift exchange, where the women drew each other’s name and did a little Secret Santa. He fancied a message for us men to be hardworking, charitable, and honorable in all transactions we have as human beings—and above all, in our relationships with the Women in our lives, and equal love for those who look beyond gender norms.
Mariah Carey serenaded us the whole way here today because I wished for it. Started with the Rainbow album, then drifted into Daydream, where “Looking In” was playing when the birds were loving the leafage play this morning, especially when hearing Mariah’s whistle. They almost looked as though they were rejoicing themselves just to hear the heavenly sound her voice truly is on the ears. Perhaps, bidding me one last farewell before winter truly arrived.

Stay Tuned For Part Three…..
Meanwhile, some Christmas Tunes To Make Your Season Sparkly and White.
Dolly Parton is on Substack now. Maybe she will buy it and save us all in 2026. lol.
I just met someone from The Why Files! HOLY SHIT»>That’s cool as fuck. Totally fucking randomly too. They just came in my husband’s work place. Pretty awesome Monday. And my court stuff got pushed to January so freedom from that anxiety until then.
